Tom Armon joined Global Water Technology, Inc. in 2018 as a senior advisor to the executive leadership team, bringing nearly four decades of experience in the water treatment industry. Having retired in 2015 after a distinguished career with a prominent Midwestern water treatment firm, Tom’s passion for water chemistry, innovation, and organizational development continues to drive his engagement in the industry.

Following his retirement, Tom began consulting and exploring emerging technologies with the potential to advance the water treatment field. During this period, his path crossed with GWT, where a shared belief in an employee-centric culture and a steadfast commitment to serving customers and their unique needs formed the foundation of a strong alignment. Since joining GWT, Tom has provided leadership with an independent, objective perspective grounded in decades of hands-on industry experience.

Tom’s advisory work spans account management, personnel development, territory growth, technology adoption, and business ownership. He plays an important role in mentoring current and future leaders within the organization, offering guidance, clarity, and perspective to GWT’s day-to-day management team as the company continues to grow and evolve.

In addition to his advisory role at GWT, Tom is the President and Owner of Freedom Boat Club locations in New Buffalo, Michigan; St. Joseph, Michigan; and Michigan City, Indiana. His continued entrepreneurial involvement reflects a lifelong commitment to leadership, customer experience, and operational excellence.
