The Association of Water Technologies (AWT) is the international water treatment association representing over 500 companies that specialize in applying water treatments for industrial and commercial cooling and heating systems. AWT works daily to support its members and provide us with the tools we need to succeed and grow — training, certification, networking, regulatory, and public awareness programs.

The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International is a federation of 90 BOMA U.S. associations and 18 international affiliates. Founded in 1907, BOMA represents the owners and managers of all commercial property types including nearly 10.5 billion square feet of U.S. office space that supports 1.7 million jobs and contributes $234.9 billion to the U.S. GDP. Its mission is to advance a vibrant commercial real estate industry through advocacy, influence and knowledge.​​

Certified Water Technologists

GWT invests in its team’s technical growth and works with all members to achieve technical certification through the Association of Water Technologies. GWT boasts a robust technical team consisting of several Certified Water Technologists (CWTs).

CWTs have the expertise, experience, and knowledge to provide the highest standards of service to and oversight of boilers and chillers. They pride themselves on making facilities as efficient as possible using the latest water treatment technology and techniques to save energy.

Individuals with the CWT designation have personally committed themselves to excellence in the water treatment industry.

Each CWT has passed a rigorous exam that covers all aspects of water treatment technology, and they must recertify every five years to maintain the credential.

Experienced and reputable

Every CWT has been employed as a water treatment professional for a minimum of five years. And, they have all passed a thorough peer-review process that includes references from colleagues and clients.

Ethical and responsible

Each CWT has signed a 13-part Declaration of Ethics. Violations result in disciplinary action, including possible revocation of their certification status.

Why GWT?

In the CEAC’s June 2011 publication, John Ferek, Director of Operations and the GWT Team were recognized by Marc Realty’s management team for outstanding customer service and “going far above and beyond” in assisting to restore one of their condominium properties after a devastating flood.
