Director, Support Operations

As Director of Support Operations at Global Water Technology, Inc., Nicole Montella leads the development and execution of support strategies across Equipment & Support Services (ESS), Water Safety (WS), and Contractor Services. In this role, Nicole ensures that these specialized teams are fully equipped to serve GWT’s national Water & Energy Services organization with the tools, systems, and operational infrastructure necessary to deliver industry-leading results.

Nicole oversees the integration and optimization of customer support and operational support functions, uniting them under a clear vision for scalability, service quality, and measurable performance. She partners closely with executive leadership, field operations, and technical teams to translate strategy into action, drive performance metrics and continuous improvement, and ensure seamless collaboration across departments.

Known for her ability to turn strategy into results, Nicole fosters a culture of accountability and innovation, enabling internal teams to exceed client expectations while supporting GWT’s long-term growth. Her leadership encompasses training and development, process optimization, resource planning, and strategic alignment of support initiatives with broader organizational goals.

Nicole brings extensive experience in operational leadership and service excellence. Prior to joining GWT, she developed her expertise across roles focused on operational support, team development, and cross-functional coordination. Her background includes leading initiatives that strengthened support structures, elevated service performance, and enhanced the customer experience — all skills she now leverages to drive excellence across GWT’s support platforms.
