GLOBAL WATER TECHNOLOGY APPOINTS DARREL WYNKOOP CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICER

Calumet City, IL — Global Water Technology, Inc. (GWT), a nationally recognized leader in commercial and industrial water treatment solutions, today announced the appointment of Darrel Wynkoop as Chief Product Officer (CPO). Wynkoop previously served as Vice President of Business Integrations and Special Projects, where he played a central role in advancing GWT’s growth through mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure development, and enterprise-wide integration initiatives.
In his new role, Wynkoop will oversee GWT’s entire product ecosystem, including product strategy, manufacturing and blending operations, logistics and distribution infrastructure, laboratory and quality functions, regulatory compliance, pricing strategy, and product enablement across the company’s national platform. He will also provide executive oversight of Global Custom Solutions (GCS), GWT’s private-label manufacturing and partner enablement business unit.

During his tenure as Vice President of Business Integrations and Special Projects, Wynkoop led or supported multiple strategic acquisitions, complex facility and infrastructure initiatives, and the integration of products, systems, and teams into GWT’s backbone operations. His work has been critical in strengthening GWT’s manufacturing capabilities, laboratory functions, logistics network, and partner-facing platforms.
As Chief Product Officer, Wynkoop will work closely with GWT’s executive leadership team and collaborate with the company’s Chief Technical Officer to translate long-term technical vision and scientific guidance into scalable, field-ready products and infrastructure. His mandate includes ensuring products are not only technically sound and compliant, but also practical, well-supported, and positioned to deliver consistent value across diverse markets and applications.
