Nicol D. Savoy

Director- People, Culture, and Talent Acquisition

Nicol joined the Global Water Technology, Inc. team in 2023 with 20 years of experience managing the human resources function while partnering with executive leadership teams to establish effective standard operating procedures, learning and development programs, and providing services that align with employee and business-driven needs.

In her current role, Nicol works with executive leadership to develop strategic human resources policies and procedures in support of GWT’s business objectives and mission. Nicol focuses on compliance, work force planning, talent acquisition, training initiatives, and employee retention. Maintaining company values and enriching the overall employee experience are vital to her work and the human resource function.

Nicol graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources with an emphasis in Family Science from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, and a Ph.D. in Education with an emphasis in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Nicol also holds a license as a mental health and substance abuse counselor. After graduation with her bachelor’s degree, she worked as a residential mental health and substance abuse counselor before starting her career in human resources. Nicol’s career has allowed her to work in various industries establishing the human resources function during periods of substantial growth. She spent most of her career in the property management and construction industry, working on both the development side and general construction sides of the business. Her work experience outside of the construction sector includes hospitality, manufacturing, and logistics/transportation. Nicol’s passion for regulatory compliance coupled with a dedication to company culture brings great value the employees and supervisors she counsels and partners with.
