Nicol Savoy

Director, People, Culture, and Talent Acquisition

Nicol joined Global Water Technology, Inc. in 2023, bringing more than 20 years of experience leading the human resources function and partnering closely with executive leadership teams to support organizational growth, compliance, and employee development. Her work focuses on building scalable HR frameworks that align business objectives with a positive, values-driven employee experience.

In her role, Nicol works alongside executive leadership to develop and implement strategic human resources policies and procedures that support GWT’s mission and long-term goals. Her areas of focus include regulatory compliance, workforce planning, talent acquisition, learning and development, training initiatives, and employee retention. She is deeply committed to maintaining GWT’s core values while enhancing engagement, accountability, and consistency across the organization.

Nicol brings a thoughtful, people-centered approach to HR leadership, informed by a diverse academic and professional background. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources with an emphasis in Family Science from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, a Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and a Ph.D. in Education with an emphasis in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. She also holds a license as a mental health and substance abuse counselor.

Early in her career, Nicol worked as a residential mental health and substance abuse counselor before transitioning into human resources, where she has since established and scaled HR functions across multiple industries during periods of significant growth. Her experience spans property management, construction, hospitality, manufacturing, and logistics and transportation. Nicol’s passion for regulatory compliance, combined with her dedication to company culture and employee well-being, brings meaningful value to the employees, leaders, and teams she supports at GWT.
