GLOBAL WATER TECHNOLOGY ACQUIRES THE CHEMICAL WATER TREATMENT BUSINESS OF THE FORMER BOB JOHNSON AND ASSOCIATES FROM KEMCO SYSTEMS; AFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO GROWTH AND EXPANSION OF FOOTPRINT IN THE SOUTHWESTERN UNITED STATES AND TEXAS

South Holland, Illinois, USA, April 6, 2023 – Global Water Technology, Inc. (GWT), a leader in water and wastewater treatment solutions, announced today the acquisition of the chemical water treatment clients of the former Bob Johnson and Associates from Kemco Systems (Kemco), headquartered in Clearwater, Florida. Texas-based Bob Johnson & Associates (BJA) had been acquired by Kemco in 2019.
Since 1969, BJA has been solving its clients’ difficult water treatment challenges. During its 50 years in business, the company developed specialized expertise in servicing its clients with robust products and service lines. Specifically, its line of specialty chemicals includes a myriad of cooling water, steam boiler, and hot and cold closed-loop treatment solutions.

These most recent moves, along with strong investment in talented individuals, exponentially complement GWT’s original expansion into the Southwestern market from 2019.
