GLOBAL WATER TECHNOLOGY ACQUIRES WEST COAST WATER SERVICES, INC. BASED IN OXNARD, CALIFORNIA; EXPANDS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PLATFORM AND CONTINUES EXPANSION OF WEST COAST OPERATIONS

South Holland, Illinois, USA, September 26, 2023 – Global Water Technology, Inc. (GWT), a leader in water and wastewater treatment solutions, announced today the acquisition of West Coast Water Services, Inc. (WCW) headquartered in Oxnard, California. 

Since 1983, WCW has provided industrial water treatment products and technical services to the Southern California marketplace. Under the 40-year leadership of entrepreneurs, Patrick and Nora Meyers, WCW developed a reputation for providing clients with superior technical expertise, robust on-the-ground services, and a myriad of custom blended water treatment solutions to meet unique water application challenges across the region.

The addition of WCW to GWT’s family of companies furthers GWT’s investment in the West Coast and Southwest markets.  GWT’s investment into both regions began in mid-2020 and has resulted in the acquisitions of four additional businesses: WaterTech Specialties, Inc. (May 2020 – Fremont, CA), SKASOL Incorporated (July 2020 – Oakland, CA), Fort Bend Services (May 2022 – Houston, TX), and the chemical water treatment business of the former Bob Johnson and Associates from KEMCO Systems (March 2023).
