Global Water Technology Receives Minority Certification Status by National Minority Supplier Diversity Council

Global Water Technology, Inc. is excited to announce our Certification as a National Minority Supplier by the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council, our local chapter of the National Minority Supplier Development Council.

GWT has been recognized as a diverse supplier by the City of Chicago, State of Illinois, and State of Indiana for over a decade and strives to excel in our core competencies and uphold the goals of such programs.

Small business growth drives the US economy. As most diverse businesses tend to be small, we inherently aid in the economic recovery and sustainability of our communities.

A report published by NMSDC concluded that the nearly 12,000 diverse businesses certified by NMSDC as of August 2014 had a total economic impact of more than $400 billion in output. These same NMSDC-certified MBE businesses created and sustained more than 2.2 million jobs. Furthermore, over $49 billion in tax revenue was created by these firms which benefited local, state, and federal governments.
