GWT invests in the technical growth of its team and actively supports members in achieving professional certification through the Association of Water Technologies. The company maintains a strong technical bench, including multiple Certified Water Technologists (CWTs), reflecting its commitment to technical excellence and industry standards.
CWTs bring the expertise, experience, and practical knowledge required to provide high-quality service and oversight for boilers, chillers, and complex water systems. They focus on optimizing system performance and efficiency by applying the latest water treatment technologies and techniques to help facilities reduce energy use and operate more effectively.
Individuals with the CWT designation have personally committed themselves to excellence in the water treatment industry.

Experts with proven knowledge
Each CWT has passed a rigorous exam that covers all aspects of water treatment technology, and they must recertify every five years to maintain the credential.
Experienced and reputable
Every CWT has been employed as a water treatment professional for a minimum of five years. And, they have all passed a thorough peer-review process that includes references from colleagues and clients.
Ethical and responsible
Each CWT has signed a 13-part Declaration of Ethics. Violations result in disciplinary action, including possible revocation of their certification status.

In the CEAC’s June 2011 publication, John Ferek, Director of Operations and the GWT Team were recognized by Marc Realty’s management team for outstanding customer service and “going far above and beyond” in assisting to restore one of their condominium properties after a devastating flood.
GWT provided the cooling tower cleaning services, sanitized all heating systems and provided new chemical feed and filtration systems for the central plant.
