COVID-19 Update – Essential Business – Critical & Necessary Products and Services

As an essential supplier of goods and services to critical infrastructure and essential businesses, Global Water Technology, Inc. will remain committed to safely providing products and services to our clients in this time of need and uncertainty.

GWT, its team members, and its partners provide necessary water related products and on-site services to critical infrastructure and essential businesses in the healthcare, commercial/residential property management, food production/distribution, power/infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors. These services include maintaining the water quality of mission critical equipment, water and equipment sanitizing (emergency and scheduled), maintaining proper domestic (drinking) water quality, repair/install/troubleshooting of water quality equipment, control of harmful waterborne pathogens in water systems, and more.

Failure to perform these services or deliver these products will lead to disruption of system operations and impede the function of essential businesses. Qualifying essential categories are:

• Building management and maintenance is categorized as Essential Infrastructure, meaning these individuals may leave their residence to provide any services or perform any work necessary to offer, provision, operate, maintain and repair Essential Infrastructure.
• Essential Infrastructure: Working in food production, distribution and sale; construction; building management and maintenance; airport operations; operation and maintenance of utilities, including water, sewer, and gas; electrical; distribution centers; oil and biofuel refining; roads, highways, railroads, and public transportation; ports; cyber security operations; flood control; solid waste and recycling collection and removal; and internet, video, and telecommunications systems
• Critical trades, including plumbers, electricians, exterminators, cleaning and janitorial staff for commercial and governmental properties, security staff, operating engineers, HVAC, painting, moving and relocation services, and other service providers that maintain the safety, sanitation and essential operation of residences, Essential Activities, and Essential Businesses and Operations

Rest assured, GWT has taken the appropriate steps to limit risks to team members, clients, and partners while performing these essential functions. Steps include implementing Social Distancing Requirements, remote working where applicable, cancellation of group events/training, increasing hygiene and PPE protocols, and following all guidance provided by local and federal authorities.
